Brian Tracy’s Time Management Plan

Brian Tracy is one of my top 3 trusted sources for personal development advice and ideas. He recently posted a very short video listing his time management tips, which you can watch here:
Goal clockI’ve summarized his time management tips below, which are very similar to my Achieving Personal Goals action plan checklist. Which one’s best? The one that works for you, of course.
Here are Brian Tracy’s 7 steps for time management:

  1. Decide what you want
  2. Write down the goal
  3. Set a deadline for achieving it
  4. List everything you need to do to achieve that goal
  5. Organize the list into a plan (what’s first, what’s most important, etc)
  6. Take action on plan, immediately
  7. Do something every day to achieve your major goal, 7 days a week.
