My name is Michael Warren, I’m the founder of Achieving Personal Goals.

This web site came about like so many things do, from an unfulfilled search for a solution to a problem (mine!). I started searching the internet for a website that had solid, factual information about the psychology of success, achieve- ment and achieving personal goals. I also wanted some tools or templates to guide me through laying out my goal like a project plan, setting the tasks to a timeline, giving me a way to track and analyze my progress each day, and also a way to hold me accountable to stay on that plan. When I didn’t find anything that had exactly what I wanted, I decided to start to build it, and make it available if anyone else wanted to use it. Which leads me to now.

As for me, I’m a single guy and I live and work in Dallas, Texas as an IT professional at a Fortune 500 company. I started my career as a CPA because I enjoyed analyzing the numbers of a business to find ways to improve the business. However, I quickly realized I enjoyed designing and building business systems that solved some of those problems more than I enjoyed analyzing the business and voilé, another computer geek was born.

These days, I spend most of my free time working on this website, but when time allows I’m also passionate about aviation, enjoy golf, just about anything fitness related, and talking/thinking/working on personal development.

If you’ve got any comments or suggestions about the site, feel free to email me at Mike@AchievingPersonalGoals.com, or leave a comment at the blog. Best of luck as your pursue your personal goals.

Oh yeah …. Go Cowboys!
